E-mail: bittenc@ufrrj.br Different concentrations of the fungal isolate CG 420 of Lecanicillium lecannii were used on eggs, larvae and pupae of S. calcitrans. Macerate larvae and larval mucus exposed to the fungus and groups control were evaluated by high performance liquid chromatography. The fungus did not show pathogenic effect immediate, because there was no significant difference between the percentages of mortality of the treated and control groups. However, it was able to reduce the emergence of flies from larvae exposed to concentration 2x108 con.mL-1 (25.45% and 41.82%), differing significantly from the control groups in two repetitions. There were differences between the chromatographic profiles formed from exposed and unexposed larvae.
