E-mail: louiz_25@yahoo.com.br Renal neoplasms are rare in dogs and cats. The nephroblastoma is a renal tumor, common in poultry and pork, however difficult to find in dogs and cats. When diagnosed, occur in puppies. We report the case of an adult dog in with symptoms of vomiting, diarrhea, lethargy, and mild dehydration. Investigations found that the animal was diagnosed with nephroblastoma, treated surgically by right nephrectomy, disease staging post. The postsurgical was accompanied by hematological and ultrasound. The animal was free of the disease for 22 months, with an improvement in life quality and expectancy.
