E-mail: nadia.ufrrj@gmail.com A novel recombinant Feline Leukemia Virus (FeLV) capsid antigen was developed and inoculated in rabbits to elicit antibodies against it. These antibodies were evaluated by indirect immunoflourescence assay (IFA) and proved to react with the native FeLV antigen in agreement with the previous tests performed in animal samples.
