Email: marceloabidu@gmail.com Knowledge of the variations of ovaric vessels has importance in a program of systematization of radiological and surgical anatomy, both in humans and animals applied for research and surgical training. This report describes a rare case in which the left ovaric vein drain in the lienal vein in adult female mongred dog. This vascular variation is not previously known in the canine species. The knowledge of the presence of the ovaric vein variations in dogs will contribute to a better understanding of the anatomical alterations that can occur in the vascularization of the abdominal region in dogs. The report is also important for angiographic, surgical and clinical procedures that involve this region.
