The association between information systems management and geographic information systems are useful for disease surveillance and information management in animal health. However, the poor literature available concerning information production has led to the development of ineffective databases which can result in low quality clinical and epidemiological investigation. This study aimed to review animal health information production process and management and show the importance of good information systems to attend researchers as well as epidemiological surveillance.
