E-mail: carolinamarotta2000@yahoo.com.br The abscess in the tooth apex is an infection usually secondary to periodontitis and characterized by intense and painful swelling. The diagnosis is made by a detailed inspection of the oral cavity coupled to radiography analysis. Tooth extractions are typically recommended for dogs and cats with dental mobility. The occurrence of fistula in cats from dental abscess is not common. This paper aims to report a case of abscess in the second left superior premolar and frontal fistula in cat and applied procedures.
