This study aimed to determine the occurrence of mycobiota present in the cervicovaginal fluid of heifers and cows during a year’s harvest. We analyzed 306 samples obtained from cervical-vaginal fluid of 17 heifers and 17 cows. We obtained 28 different fungal species from 17 genera. The genus Aspergillus was the most representative number of species with seven isolates: A. flavus, A. foetidus, A. niger, A. ochraceus, A. ostianus, A. sydowii and A. terreus. Penicillium followed by five species with Penicillium sp., P. arenicola, P. commune, P. rugulosum and P. citreonigrum. Calves were isolated from the same fungi identified in cows. However, reinforces the status of the herd that many of animals remain carriers of opportunistic microorganisms. This mycobiota can be considered for temporary resident directly linked to environmental and management conditions. May present a risk of developing clinical infection, provided that the animals, in fact, may suffer from an impaired immune system.
